Story

The year is 1927. You are Detective Nathan Reed, renowned for solving the case of Hawksley Infirmary some years ago—a case that left its mark on history, and on you.

Now, you find yourself standing at the gates of Finch Estate, in the mist of an early morning. You were summoned by Victoria Finch, the daughter of Sir Richard Finch, under circumstances that were vague yet urgent.

Will you manage to uncover this new mystery?

The family’s most prized heirloom has vanished: a music box, carved from ebony, inlaid with diamonds and sapphires. Priceless, irreplaceable, and now stolen.

Victoria looks deeply troubled—perhaps more than you would expect. And though you cannot yet place why, something about this case feels completely off.

While The Cursed Artifact is set later in the timeline and is related to the original book, it can be enjoyed independently. The two stories are linked but contain no spoilers for each other.

What do I need to set up the game at home?
